Cute Boss and I spent a lot of car time together today driving from a job site visit to lunch and then back to the office today. I told him that before I leave, we should all go to that place for white pizza again. He said "Is that where you want your going away party to be?" I told him I didn't want one of those, I just wanted to have lunch with all of them again at that place because we had such a nice time. His answer to that was "Too bad. You're having one. We've already talked about it." Ugh.

I talked to the woman that hired me while at the job site today. She told me that I will be missed terribly and that I have done a fantastic job during my time with them. I appreciated that a lot because she really only communicates with us through the managers.

Went out for drinks and dinner with mariic last night. I really needed to get out of here for a bit. Blow off some steam, as they say. Whoever "they" are.

I packed up my desktop computer, printer and scanner today. That side of the room looks terribly strange now. I packed some more clothes and the "haul-away" people came to pick up the discarded remodel crap in the carport. There's still so much left to do.

I came home to a cute note from the sexyoldman and one from the lovely lysippe-lost. I LOVE getting notes! Thank you both.

I don't watch "Smallville". I don't know why, there are so many pretty people on that show. But tonight it was on tv as background noise while I was packing and cleaning. This is pretty much for Amy because she'll understand more than anyone I know why this was so funny to me. I laughed myself silly at the beginning of the second episode they showed this evening because John Schneider (who still looks DAMN good) is driving around in his truck and "Good Ol' Boys" was on his radio. Yes, I am so easily amused. But it WAS funny, damn it.
