Okay, so I’ve been kind of withdrawn this past month or so and I apologize to anyone who was worried about me. I just wasn’t in the mood to talk.

Here’s what happened...

On March 3rd about 18 people where I work lost their jobs.

I was one of them.

This past month has been spent relentlessly sending out resumes, interviewing and networking my ass off.

With the time off I cleaned the house, re-organized all of my music, I painted the little bathroom, read over 10 books (I’d be happy to give you names and reviews if you’d like) and dealt with some severe bouts of the blues.

I got a job today and I start Tuesday. I am terribly relieved.

Thanks to everyone who was kind enough to pass my resume on and keep their eyes and ears open for jobs for me. Thank you also for trying to keep my mind off of things and for making me smile when I thought I couldn’t.
