We all have people that say that they would never hurt us.

I've always found myself saying 'I'd never hurt you on purpose'.

Remember, Never and I have a volatile relationship. If I employ Never improperly, he bites me on my ass (and not in the good, fun way) as a reminder to not do it again.

You shouldn't assume that someone will never hurt you, because there probably will come a time when they will whether they mean to or not.

Most of us have this short list of people least likely to do our feelings harm. The name at the bottom of the list would be the last person you could ever picture making your heart heavy with pain.

The disappointment stings so much worse when you get hurt by the last person on that special list. It's unexpected and confusing.
