I'm sad to say that Amy lost her lovely Aunt Kathy this week. Flea and I attended Kathy's wake in Amy's place.

Amy kept thanking us for being there when she couldn't.

Flea told her that she might have to send her to a few more funerals to make up for all the times Amy has listened to her when Life's Drama has come a-calling.

I reminded Amy that she drove out to be with me when I lost my Mom (her Grammy) without giving it a second thought. I remember telling her not to come. Thankfully, Amy wasn't having any of my nonsense.

It's what we do.
