I decided yesterday that I am going to have a great weekend. That's all there is to it.

I've been kind of keeping to myself, going to the gym and doing stuff on and around the house the past few weekends and I think I must have cabin fever or something. I just want to go OUT and that's what I'm going to do, damnit.

Tonight I'm heading out to see my friend Angelo play. I'm trying to drag Carol (Hi Carol!) and Meg out there with me if they can make it.

Tomorrow I get to see two really good bands play and it's also Johnnie H's birthday so I'm making chocolate dipped strawberries for him. I'd bring cake but last time I did that, Kevin and I ended up wearing most of it. Which, looking back, was actually kind of fun...

ANYWAY, tomorrow is going to be interesting for me. Two great bands, Johnnie H's birthday, but I'm sure I will receive some weird boy vibes throughout the evening because Joe is going to be there (his band is playing too). Oh well. Johnnie H and Joe absolutely love each other, they are both drummers and both scared to death of me so I'm sure they will have a fantastic time together.

I'm excited and nervous because I was asked to take some promo pictures tomorrow night before the show. I've never really done that before so I hope they turn out okay. I'm so used to taking performance shots that it will be weird having them stand/sit still for me!

That's about all I got, kids. I'd better get back to dippin' strawberries.

Oh! I made some cd's just for Laura . I got a little carried away but all of the discs contain songs I thought she would like or that would make her smile or laugh when she heard them. I can't wait to drop them in the mail to her. (If you follow that link to her journal it will make sense why I brought this up, I promise!)
